This year Chrismas is filled with love.

Christmas Eve - Sat
Starting on the eve, I met up with a group of christians at Mac Res for a run. After the run, we were invited to Fang and Jason's house for lunch prepare by them. This is so special.

In the afternoon, I decided to meet up with my buddy Zach to watch Mission Impossible 4. Turns out he has free tickets and I was the beneficiary. I bought him a drink and we catch up over a drink at Ya Kun.

I'm not sure about the rest of the world. I got back home at 8pm. Spend some time to memorise the lyrics as I am singing with the choir the next morning. And I have to get up at 645am!! Very early for me.

Christmas - Sun
This is a video recording off our performance. It is not the best but we are happy we get together as a choir to sing for God.

Today is Christmas, so nice to have it on Sunday where we meet for service. Almost every year, my church will have a special program such as singing by the choir, musical or performance by the children. This year, Choi formed a choir of 18 members and we prepared 3 songs for the choir. My favourite is Pie Jesu.

After service, I had lunch with my young teen Dylan, together with Weng Fatt and Jeremy. Compass Point is crowded as usual and we went to Jack's Place for Xmas set lunch. The restaurant is packed but we manage to get a table without much waiting.

I was glad that I can be a part of these boys life in the young teens ministry. I hope they do well in the new ministry.

Because I have difficulty getting to sleep the night before, I am getting a headache now. After lunch, I have not much energy to do anything. I took a bus home to sleep. I know that if my headache are triggered by lack of sleep, the best remedy is to sleep!! Simple as that.

Tonight, I'm going to Raymond and Sherlee's house for dinner. Also, I've agreed to help Raymond drill some holes on the walls to fix some shelf. As I walked from Khatib MRT towards their house, I told myself how blessed to have my best friends living so near to me.

While Sherlee was busy in the kitchen, I interact with the boys in the living room. It's so fun to talk to him and hear them talk in a kiddy way.

My friend's neighbour are my friends
Just when we were about to serve everything on the table. Someone called me from the corridor. Not expecting that to happen, I was in a slight state of shock. It took me a second to recognise Zoel!! Having sense that I'm shocked, she jokingly ask if I've invited her over for dinner. What was more surprising is that she ask if I've met Sam, our friend from Singapore Poly. I thought I've met the owner of next door unit, but I didn't think I know him until Zoel mention "Rama". Oh, I remember Rama!!! Excited, I went into their house and spoke to Sam (AKA Rama). We chat awhile before I let him go back to cooking and I also have to return to Raymond's house for dinner.

Turns out that Sam married Tiffany. Zoel is bridesmaid at their wedding. Sam and Tiffany are Raymond and Sherlee's new neighbour, and I am Raymond's best man at their wedding. Does it make sense. Doesn't matter, as long as I understand can already.

Boxing Day - Monday
Christmas party with the Young Teens Workers. We had great food and fun award given out. Gift exchange this year was a surprise. I actually received a lot of presents this year. I still don't understand this "buy present during Christmas season thing" But next year I know I will prepare more presents.

Talk about present, I've received a couple of present from Daiso. It make economic sense to get present there since it's only 2 dollars. But then some of these things I'm wondering when will I ever get to use them? Re-gift, anybody?

Met up with the brothers at NS HomeTeam Sembawang for a swim. It's been a long time we hang out by the pool Didn't swim much actually. Well, it's just an excuse to get together. We wanted to play a game of Bang!! together, but FJ has to go for a dinner appointment. With just the 3 of us, we went for dinner and follow by dessert. Hehe.

Halfway thru the night as I was writing this blog, I thought it will be good to go for supper. Zach was available after his appointment at 11pm. Then he picked me up from my house. I had 1 egg prata and 1 plain prata and a packet of hot milo at 12midnight. No wonder some of my friends are saying that I look stout after I came back from Nepal. Stout really sounds nicer than fat. Stout sounds more macho, fat sounds like I've been really lazy lately. Anyway, I'll work hard at getting rid of those excessive fats around my waist. Or as what Jason say, if you can lose the inches around the waist, increase the inches around the chest. Both have the same effect of making the waist appear less "bulgy"
