You might ask why i arrived in Incheon instead of Seoul. Here's the explanation- Incheon is about 30-40km away from Seoul city. Several years ago, the government built a new international airport off an island in Incheon. First operational in 2001. Geographically, it really resemble Hong Kong International Airport, also build on a small Island off the coast of Lantau Island (a bigger island). The previous international airport is now serving domestic flights. For more info,

Like i mentioned in another entry, I was with a Korean on my flight from Kunming to Korea. His sister and brother-in-law are supposed to pick him up. However, they were not in sight.
Emergency call
Here's something interesting about Korean public telephone. Unlike in Singapore and most countries (I assumed), you have to pay for phone call using coins or phonecard. Not so for Korean. You can make a so-call 'emergency' call. In Singapore, emergency calls are referring to police or ambulance. In Korea, you can make an 'emergency' call to your friend by pressing the emergency button, follow by punching in '1541', follow by the local no., and ends with a '#'. At the receiver end, he'll get a recorded message informing him that the phone call that follows has to be paid by him ( the receiver). You must understand, in Korea, only the caller party pays (outgoing call). Receiving, or incoming calls, is free (that's what I was told). I thought that was a brilliant system especially so for tourist. I like the definition of 'emergency' call in Korea. It means free call.
ATM are abundant at the airport. Back in China, "UNION" service are available on their ATMs. Other services like "PLUS" "CIRRUS" "VISA link" are available on selected ATMs only. I like Korea's ATM, they supports the above mention services, including "UNION". I thought you can find it in China only.
So we finally meet up with my Korean friend's family. They were very kind. I got a ride to Susaek subway station where Intae will pick me up. It was a short hour ride.

Incheon or Seoul international airport.
Incheon Intl airport is clean and modern. However, I still think Changi Airport is the best. Everytime I step on Changi Airport (from abroad) I always have this feeling : "It's good to be home". I look forward to say that 3 months later when I get home.
