Finally, I get to meet the brothers and sisters from China. Sea ask me if I wanted to join them for the service, I am more than happy to say yes.
Mid week service was a house church setting. On the way there, we met a sister. When I arrived at the house, I was a little reserved. Should I give them a hug or what? Soon I find out they greet one another with warm hug, just like the disciples in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In fact, I find them more affectionate, especially the brothers. They give bear hugs.
During the fellowship, I repeated a hundred times that I'm from Singapore. I used to work in the airforce. I am a christian for 8 years. Singapore church is almost 900 strong disciples and etc. For some of them, I am the first foreigner they met though I am a Chinese too, but holding a foreigner passport.
Vin preached a lesson. The world will passed away but not God's Words.
Communism embraces atheist but are they really atheist. Everyone worship something- Money, status, material possession, somebody... Things or people we worship are our gods even though we might not notice or acknowledge it.
We need to worship the real God, that something or someone that we look up to, for there is only 1 God.
Col 2:18
1. God is not superman, he is more powerful that superman and more superior than we can ever imagine.
2. Everything belongs to God, including us.
