Ikea with Raymond and little Russell

This evening boy's night out, Raymond, Jerry and Russell head out to Ikea!!!

Russell is now 18th month old and he's talking to people. But toddlers being toddlers, they formed their own vocab. Take for instance, "Tuh Tuh" is the word for "thank you". "up purn" is the word for "ice-cream". Whenever he say "up purn", he puts on a unique expression. He's so adorable.

Russell loves food, therefore, I conclude that he's a true blue Singaporean, even as young as he is. His eyes lit up when I put down the 6 nicely fried golden brown chicken wing on the table. I couldn't give him the raw salmon sandwich, so I pinch a bit of the bread and put it in his mouth. He put on a big smile. My heart melt. Why is he so unbelievably and incredibly cute??

Russell is very responsive. "Do you want ice cream?". He nodded his head. "Do you want chicken wings?". He nodded his head. "Do you want...?" He nodded his head. Basically, Russell nod his head whenever he hears a sentence with the word "Do you want" in it.

Russell couldn't sit for too long like most kids. We headed to the toys department. Russell was walking around randomly with the soft toy ball in his hands. He can say "ball" too. He likes to play with older kids, but maybe in the eyes of those kids, it seems more like Russell is disturbing them.

It's time to fetch mommy from church to home. We left Ikea and head back to church at Punggol. Little Russell could recognise the church building. After sitting in the car for 3 mins while waiting for Sherlee, he point to the main door and say "go there". He has quite a husky voice, at the same time kiddy.

So Sherlee and Raymond drove off with his 1-week old new Toyota Wish, with Russell looking out of the window and admiring the world that he'll be spending the next many decades discovering. I hope he'll grow up liking Uncle Jerry, because Uncle Jerry absolutely adore him.
