Actually, the new ATM card has a "CIRRUS" or "PLUS" logo. When you are out of Singapore, you can draw cash from overseas ATM that has the matching logo to you Singapore ATM card. It's very convenient. I draw money upon arrival at a new country. Don't need to bring cash all the way from Singapore. Safer also. Oh, but there is a 5 sing dollar admin charges. That's why I say maybe DBS will give discount since I use DBS account but Singapore one.
