Kledang Hill (Ipoh)

Today, I had the privilege to go to Kledang hill with a local.

Kledang hill is in the town of Menglembu. Like many hill in msia, the trail start is near a residential area.

We started at 1130pm. We're attempting to get  to the summit via the RTM route. Supposedly, there are 4trails leading to the summit. The most obvious route is the tarred road.

The first 15-20mins. There is no sight of the signage. Since Jason has been here once, he relied on his experience. 1 junction is really discreet, we have to spot a trail leading us across a small.

I've read a blog about his trek, the RTM trail.was described as ' difficult to get lost". Previously, Jason also attempted RTM trail and took a wrong turn. After backtracking, he 'chance' upon the trial. He told a local about his experience and was told that it is almost impossible to get loss on RTM.

Today after I experience it myself, I wouldn't describe RTM as 'impossible to get lost". There are numerous junction without signage. Some trails in west msia is almost impossible to get lost such as Gunung Panti, Gunung Datuk, Gunung Berlumut. This.trails are almost single track with hardly any junction. Even if there's  a junction, it usually leads to a dead end for water source or camp site.
