My highlight of the trip is definitely the hike up Penang Hill. We estimate the hike from Moon Gate to the top at 1.5 hrs. But by 1.5hrs, we only reach half way point, where there is 'club', offering drinks. Although drinks are not chargeable, you can make a donation.
My low was the flight delay. Scheduled to take off at 0925hrs, the plane only took off at 1400hrs. We spend 5hrs in the transit area doing nothing. I don't mind if I'm stuck at Changi Airport, I can use free internet, play free Wii, try out the massage chair, explore the indoor garden and more. But at Penang Airport, we are limited to a row of stores, 2 cafe and ample seats.
