Bought tickets for 4 events to the Youth Olympics

Well, the details for the Youth Olympic opening and closing ceremony is out. Registration dates are Friday, 23 Apr 2010 to Sunday, 9 May 2010.

My family is going to watching Taekwondo finals together, and Sharon's 3 three kids would be going too. Since they practice Taekwondo, I think watching the international Taekwondo competition live would be most relevant to them. Who knows, they might be inspired to be the next Taekwondo Olympian.

If you are still interested to watch any of the aquatic events (swimming and diving), you'll be disappointed to know that most, if not all, of the tickets are sold. I've got 2 extra!!!

Also, I going to watch the Gymnastic finals with Raymond and Fangjing and if possible, mother Dionne. I think it's going to be very exciting. Gymnast never fail to amaze me with what they can do with their body. Most ordinary man can't even get close. The closest I can get it to pull myself up the chin up bar. Does that count? These will be the event for that evening. Actually, I also like to see the Ring event. Too bad it's not in the program. This event is FULLY sold out too.

Men's Vault Final
Women's Balance Beam Final
Men's Horizontal Bar Final
Men's Parallel Bars Final
Women's Floor Exercise Final

Besides Swimming finals, Taekwondo finals and Gymnastic finals, I'm going to watch the Canoe/Kayak preliminary to be held the the Marina Reservoir. If you're still wondering where is Marina Reservoir, it is right in front of the Esplanade. How exciting it is to be competing right in the heart of the city. With the Singapore Flyers, the world's largest floating platform, the Marina Bay Sands IR, the Esplanade and more, Marina Bay is fast becoming an icon on the world map.
